  • Job Description

    • Function as an Outsourced Manager/Controller to clients
    • Various industry experience including Energy, Manufacturing/Distribution
    • Participate and/or manage Outsourced Financial Accounting Services (FAS) engagements
    • Collaborate with the internal management and client to determine a needs based strategy that appropriately addresses risk and manages stakeholders" expectations relating to deliverables
    • Ensure that the FAS engagement team understands the client's needs and expectations and that the work product is client-focused, clear, accurate and well-documented and presented
    • Ensure work is delivered timely and in compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
    • Deliver effective execution of the FAS service delivery framework
    • Develop standardized tools and checklists; attention to constant process improvements and automation
    • Work with other service lines in providing an integrated service delivery
    • Monitor the FAS engagement team's performance against the budget and QC standards; alter as necessary
    • Financial statement analysis to identify and communicate relevant trends, developments and key performance drivers relevant to the client
    • Consult with appropriate resources on complex accounting issues
    • Supervise, manage and develop staff accountants, contractors and remote staff
    • Prepare and provide project and annual review feedback to staff

    Required Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree and approximately 8-10 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 6 years of related work experience
    • Undergraduate or master's degree in accounting and/or other appropriate academic major
    • CPA certification
    • Strong technical skills and recognized cautious risk management ability
    • Effective time management skills
    • Management skills to lead, delegate, mentor, review performance and counsel employees
    • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills
    • Ability and comfort level in researching client inquires and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies
